I think on the whole that our first attempt at an interview went quite well. Whils filming the interview we had all of the codes and conventios with us and followed them as well as we could. Our biggest downfall was the Mise-en-scene because it was irrelevant to the main focus of the interview. There we also a few problems with the editing of the interview and the cuts between it and the Cut-Aways.
However there were many positives to take away from it. Firstly, most of the Cut-Aways were relevent to the answers and they were filmed well. Also, the music edited in the background was at a good level compared to the voice audio and we well with the visuals.
Overall I think it went well as a first attempt at an interview and I think there are many positives to take away into the next attempt.

Our Lessons
In our first lesson studying Interviews we watched two professional interviews on YouTube. We watched them and wrote down what they had in common and then Sir wrote down all of the classes suggestions. We then made a list of the Codes and Conventions of a TV interview and were told to upload them onto our blog.
In our next lesson we were told to plan an interview for us to film. We had a story board to plan our cut-aways and had to plan the answers to the questons.
The next lesson was spent filming it and we went round the whole school filming. The interview was filmed in the radio studio and the cut-aways all over the school including the common room and the break out area.
After we had imported all of the clips to Adobe Premiere we then spent the nex few lessons editing them together and putting the cut-aways into the right places. after this we uploaded the video to YouTube so we can put it on Blogger.
